국내에 계신 플라이 조우들께 알려드립니다.

플라이를 통한 환경보전, 치유, 교육을 모토로 1965년 결성된 

국제플라이연맹(International Federation of Flyfishers)에서 주관하는

극동지역 플라이캐스팅강사 인증시험이 오는 10월 7일부터 9일까지 

일본 동경에서 있을 예정입니다. 

참가국은 일본과 한국 등 2개국이며 올 극동지역 시험의 전형과목은 

CI (Certified Instructor, 원핸드 일반강사), MCI(Master Instructor, 마스타강사) 

2부문으로 국한됩니다. 한국에 할당된 응시가능인원 중 현재 CI는 4석, MCI는 1석이 

남아있습니다만 수시로 마감될 수 있습니다.

IFFF 주관 플라이캐스팅강사인증시험은 세계적으로 공신력을 인정받는 

플라이강사시험 중 하나로서 응시자에게 플라이낚시와 플라이캐스팅 전반에 걸친 

높은 수준의 실력과 교습능력을 요구하고 있으며 국내에도 10여 년 전부터 

여러 명의 인증강사가 배출되어 활동 중에 있습니다. 

모든 IFFF 회원은 캐스팅강사시험에 단독으로 응시할 수 있습니다.

전형료는 CI 175불, MCI 250불이고 여기에 1인당 행사비 150불이 추가됩니다. 

항공료, 일본 체류경비, 통역 등 개인지출항목은 이 금액에 포함되어 있지 않습니다.

Dear fellow Flyfishers in Korea,

Internatioanl Federation of Flyfishers, established in 1965 with a mission to promote Conserving, Restoring, and Educating through fly fishing hosts Casting Instructors' Exams for its members of Far-eastern region in Tokyo, Japan from October 7-9, 2016. 

This year Candidates from Japan and Korea will participate only in CI and MCI exams. CI 4 slots and 1 MCI slot are open for Korea. This availability is on first come first served basis and can be changed without prior notice.

IFFF exams, one of the most recognized fly casting instructors tests world-wide require candidates a high standand of casting and instructing techniques along with the general knowledge about all the aspects of fly fishing. Korea also got quite a few Certified Instructors since a decade.

Any current member of IFFF can apply for the exams.

Test fee is $175 for CI and $250 for MCI. Additional event fee $150 is due for all the candidates. Air fare, lodging, translator and any personal expenditures while traveling Japan is NOT included in these fees.
